False Cognates

Cognates are words that have the same origin, and therefore similar spellings. With the evolution of each language, some words may have different meanings for each country-These words are called "false cognates" or False Friends.

False cognates - or false friends - are divided into two categories: the pure and possible. The pure have totally different meanings for each language. Look at the examples below:

Syn also has several variations of its type "Synyster," for example (all the following are the size Avenger / Synyster) an American flag, a German flag, a Rebel flag, black with red stripes and white with gold stripes, as can be view the clip of the song "Afterlife". -Favorite guitarists Synyster are Django Reinhardt, Frank Gambale, Adam Aparicio, Basillios, Dimebag Darrell, Slash, Francis Canavan, and John Petrucci
-The name "Synyster Gates" came when he was 17 years. I was with Jimmy Sullivan (The Rev). Were blind drunk and drive around the park with the car of James. I was driving and I said nothing "I am Synyster Gates and I am panicking!" I do not know why I said it, but now that's my name! Syn said in an interview.
-Synyster Gates's father, Brian Haner Sr. (Papa Gates also called) is also a guitarist and is the acoustic guitarist's official Avenged Sevenfold, participating in the album City of Evil on the recorded songs "Sidewinder," "Beast and Harlot 'and "MIA."
-Synyster studied "Jazz Guitar" as a child.
-Gates and drummer The Rev has played in the band Pinkly Smooth along with former bassist of Avenged Sevenfold, Justin Sane. During the tour for the album City Of Evil Avenged Sevenfold they left the band to devote himself solely to Avenged full time. Asked about the Pinkly Smooth, The Rev and Synyster revealed that they had plans to return to play together in Pinkly.
-Syn and the lead singer of A7X, M. Shadows have a stake in "The River" from the band, Good Charlotte.
-Synyster Gates got his first tattoo at 15 years, a number one on your polegar.Quando questioned he said: "I was young and thought it would be cool."

LIVE IN THE LBC & DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH

This DVD holds a full live show at the Long Beach Arena in California as well as a fair range of extras, such as backstage footage. The setlist was powerful. It starte with Critical Acclaim which is the perfect opener for a huge show like this. During the show we played our greatest hits, such as, Afterlife, Bat Country, Second Heartbeat, Almost Easy, Seize The Day and many many more, and we ended with the classic Unholy Confessions, before we came back running on the stage with a mind-blowing A Little Piece Of Heaven. There was also a lot of variation in the setlist. As most of you know, Avenged is a hard rock band, but we had a lot of variation in our setlist, we had rough songs, and at some points we slowed down with a beautiful Gunslinger and Seize the Day. One of the highlights was probably the fact that we played Walk by Pantera and actually had a member of the crowd sing it.
