Syn also has several variations of its type "Synyster," for example (all the following are the size Avenger / Synyster) an American flag, a German flag, a Rebel flag, black with red stripes and white with gold stripes, as can be view the clip of the song "Afterlife". The white guitar with gold stripes and is available in production was limited to just 100.
Most if not all, of Syn has guitars that are customized. Syn uses sensors Seymour Duncan SH-8 in their custom guitars and also a pickup with the system sustaniac. He uses Drop D tuning on most of the time. He uses the Db tuning the songs "Almost Easy," "Radiant Eclipse", "Scream," and others.

In the past, Syn used a Gibson Les Paul, a Parker Fly, BC Rich Mockingbird and Ibanez RG Prestige.
